FOLKODIA Working On New Album

March 30, 2009

FOLKODIA, the offshoot of epic viking/pagan metal project FOLKEARTH, is currently working on a new album. The LP will feature a guest appearance by Rhode Rachel of the New Jersey-based folk metal project SWORDBEARER, who has contributed clean vocals, jaw harp, and tin whistle to the song "The Oath Of Runes". He describes the track as "quite BATHORY-like."

FOLKODIA was formed in the autumn of 2007. The act is manned by musicians from FOLKEARTH as well as other highly distinguished veterans of the metal scene.

The band's first album, "Odes From The Past", was released in June 2008.
